American’s Spend $17.6B on Valentine’s Day
They say our love won’t pay the rent, but boy do Americans spend on Valentine’s Day. According to Business Journal Daily, Americans will spend $17.6 billion on Valentine’s Day gifts in 2012. Men spend almost twice as much on gifts as women, up to $168, with women only spending about $83. If your Valentine is of the four-legged variety, as a group you’ll be spending approximately $367 million on Valentine’s Day gifts for your pets. And they don’t even know what day it is! That’s amore.

Send a Funny E-Card
Although most people are planning something special for Valentine’s Day, there are some folks who ignore this holiday completely. If you have people on your email list who fit this description why not send them an e-card from www.jibjab.com. Receiving an “Angry Heart” or “Shoot Cupid” e-card on Valentine’s Day may put a smile on the face of someone that doesn’t “get” this holiday.
