In Pictures: How Not To Behave At The Office Party [PICS]
This image gallery from Forbes includes expanded captions to keep you on track at the holiday office party. And, if you need more guidance, there’s a link to the full text that offers additional tips in more detail. Thanks to @Lucas_Wyrsch (a frequent Madeleines contributor) for bringing this our way.
10 Unbelievable SMS Texting Stories
While some of these are very believable, they’re still quite interesting. We all know people have hurt themselves and others while texting due to inattentive driving, but what about the entire book that was written via text messages? This interesting madeleine courtesy of @Flipbooks.
Prof. Has Eye in Back of His Head, Really
We bumped into this story on San Diego News 10 via @LamontCran. Funny we should read about it on a San Diego news site since the subject is right in our own back yard. Seems an NYU professor had surgery to install a camera in the back of his head. Actually, a titanium plate was implanted, which will provide a mounting base for a small surveillance camera. The professor said he plans on wearing the camera 24 hours a day, even when he’s showering and having sex. The professor is just one of 23 artists who will snap one image from the cameras every minute for a year as part of an exhibit called The 3rd Eye that will be featured at the new Arab Museum of Modern Art in Qatar.
Video of the Week
A Charlie Brown Ad Agency
This spoof of A Charlie Brown Christmas has an entirely new (and sometimes ribald, sometimes censored) script. It’s bound to get a great laugh, especially from writers, those in advertising, marketing and other creatives. It’s about creating invitations for the Ad Agency’s holiday party and it’s all in fun – a lot of it. Thanks to @WebFugitive for this great find.
