How it all works
Here’s the short version: our process is tailored to yours and the way you prefer to work.
Having said that, we’ve honed, tweaked and tested our process to provide maximum efficiency and ROI on every project. It’s the foundation of everything we do:
We discuss your project with you, gathering the information we need to assign the best creative team and begin initial research.
Our creative team meets with you about project specifics: goals, approach, timetable, research/data, history of similar projects within your organization, and anything else relevant to your project. We ask a lot of questions. After we’ve digested your answers, we’ll probably have more questions.
The project manager and senior writer, often with other members of our marketing/creative team, brainstorm strategies to produce the best possible results. Sometimes we argue.
We do more research and put fingers to keyboards. And type.
We conduct an internal editorial review. Does this match the strategy and the brand messages? Does it meet the goals of the project? Are we proud to put our names on it? Will you be equally proud? We polish and polish until all of the answers are yes.
Our standard agreement offers up to one full rewrite and two rounds of minor revisions. If you don’t like the first draft, we’ll cheerfully draft new copy. The final two rounds are fine-tuning and proofreading.
What were the results? What can we learn from the project? Tracking, analyzing and learning from the results of, and the reaction to, our work is critical. At least, we think so. And that will make our next project for you even better.
Let’s discuss your process.
